Bluehost Support

Support Icon

Blue Spark is on standby 24/7.  Their team of experts will not only help you with any technical issues you may be having online. They also provide guidance for your online success.

Although their customer service reviews are outstanding. I’ve seen a couple slow responses to some advanced technical question.

Shared Hosting

Server linked to multiple computers

Really quick if you don’t know what shared hosting is. It’s the ability to share a server with other websites or people just like you. This is what make it so afforadable.

Also it will likely be managed by someone in this case Bluehost who will manage the server so you don’t have to worry about maintenance or platform patches

Bluehost Price

There is quite a lot of variation to choose from each having its own discounts and incentives to sign up. Some will offer more and be less money but watch out that will only be for a set period of time.

So bare with me as I try to explain their packages.

Shared Hosting Packages- Basic, Plus, Pro

All include:

  • Backups
  • SSL Certificates
  • Domains
  • Resource Protection
  • Scalability

Basic

  • Introductory price is $2.67/mo normally $7.99 (3yr commitment)
  • $3.95/mo (2yr commitment)
  • $4.95/mo (1yr commitment)

Plus & Choice Plus

This is their “same price package” for the first 3 years. You will obviously get more with the Choice plus but after the 3 years is up the renewal fee is going to cost more.

Plus

  • $5.95/mo normally $10.99 (3yr commitment)
  • $6.45/mo (2yr commitment)
  • $7.95/mo (1yr commitment)

Choice Plus

  • $5.95/mo normally $14.99 (3yr commitment)
  • $7.45/mo (2yr commitment)
  • $7.95/mo (1yr commitment)

Biggest difference you get 3 times as much value in Extras each year

PRO

Pro gives you your own IP address.

  • Introductory price is $13.95/mo normally $23.99 (3yr commitment)
  • $15.95/mo (2yr commitment)
  • $18.95/mo (1yr commitment)

Extras (applied to Basic, Plus, Choice Plus, and Pro)

  1. Sitelock security $1.99/mo (highly recommended)
  2. Codeguard $2.99/mo (highly recommended)
  3. Bluehost SEO Tools $1.99/mo (optional)

(These extras are going to be checked for you when you are about to check out. So you’ll need to uncheck them if you don’t want them.)

All plans are backed by a 30-day Money Back Guarantee (Domain names are exempt for this guarantee)

So is Bluehost Worth it??

I believe they are! Everything I’ve researched says they are a solid and reputable company, offering a variety of different packages to their customers. You can even call to set up a customized package that meets your specific needs.

There are many hosting platforms out there pros and cons to all of course. Bluehost just happens to be the most competitively priced.

If you’re just starting out you won’t need anything more than what Bluehost offers in their shared hosting plan. That’s less than 3 bucks a month for the first 3 years.

I don’t use them personally but I would be using them if it wasn’t for the plan I already have.

If you do choose Bluehost, make sure they are the ones you want to work with because moving your site to another service will NOT BE CHEAP!

    Hi there,

I am currently looking to switch hosting due to slow load times and issues with mobile indexing (due to said slow times). DO you have some information on what is available with Bluehost in regards to site speed?

Bluehost is more known for its low cost shared plans. I know their VPS plans are fast but now your talking 10 times the money but you will obviously get lot’s more service for it. Have you tried https://gtmetrix.com/ to test your site speed? It could be just the coding slowing down your site.
